We’re thrilled to announce that the Ridge Meadows Jr. Flames are launching our first-ever Female U11 and U13 Spring Teams, starting in Spring 2026!

This marks a major milestone in the growth of female hockey in our community—and we’re inviting young female athletes to be part of it.

ID Skates – Week of August 11

To kick off this exciting new chapter, we’re holding ID Skates during the week of August 11.

Each participant will take part in:

One day of focused skill development
Competitive scrimmage sessions

These sessions will help us shape our inaugural U11 and U13 female spring teams and give players a chance to showcase their skills in a supportive, competitive environment.

Registration for the Program is Now Open

Players born in the appropriate age groups are invited to register now to be part of this historic launch.

The Ridge Meadows Flames Junior A Hockey Club is proud to announce the launch of the Ridge Meadows Junior Flames Hockey Development Program, beginning in the summer of 2025!

Building on our longstanding tradition of player development, community engagement, and passion for the game, the Junior Flames Hockey Development Program is designed to provide young athletes with the tools, support, and experience they need to take their game to the next level—on and off the ice.

This new initiative offers a comprehensive hockey experience for players who are eager to grow their skills in a high-performance, fun and competetive environment while embracing the values that define what it means to be a Flame: hard work, respect, teamwork, and community spirit.

Meet the Coaches

Marcin Hak

Coach Profile: Martin Hak – Maple Ridge, BC

Martin Hak is a highly respected hockey coach based in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, with a rich background as both a player and a coach. Originally from Gizycko, Poland, Hak represented the Polish National Team as a player at the World Junior Championships before moving to Canada, bringing elite international experience to his coaching career. Coach Hak also played professionally in Japan and Germany.

Bayne Ryshak

Coach Profile: Bayne Ryshak – Maple Ridge, BC

Bayne Ryshak is a dedicated hockey coach based in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, with a deep-rooted passion for developing players and fostering team success. A product of the Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association (RMMHA), Ryshak has transitioned from a standout player to a respected coach in the local hockey community.
